Netherland: Tim Jansen wins first round of HFCC indoor series

The HFCC racing club in The Heaghe, the Netherlands started this indoor season with a very good idea. The HFCC indoor series. This would take place at a hall that they could get for a weekend. On Saturday morning building up the track and Sunday after the race breaking down.

Last weekend was the first of the 3 rounds. The race could be entered in 4 classes; 12scale stock, M chassis, TC 17.5stock and F1 21.5turns.

On Saturday the track was build up. Then after the track was ready to race, there was time for some practise laps.

Sunday was raceday. With 34 drivers signed up in 3 classes this was promised to be a nice day. F1 class had no drivers signed in.

In the 12 scale class were in total 6 drivers. This class was driven with 10.5 motor.

There was a nice battle going on for the top 4 places during qualifying. In the end it was Fokke Groen taking TQ in front of Tim Jansen and Daniël Jansma.

The finals were exciting to watch. After the first to finals both Fokke and Tim had a win. So it was all coming down to the last final round. In the end after a close battle with Daniël, Tim would take the win in the third final and taking home the overall win in the 12scale class.

The final standings; 1st Tim Jansen(Serpent), Fokke Groen ( Associated), Daniël Jansma (Xray)
